Corporate Executive Slice of Life, Boston MA

Not all photography has to be posed, lit, staged, what have you. Meetings are an excellent example. When you don't want to draw attention to the process of being photographed, I can drop into the background and shoot people as they really are. Most meetings have lots of opportunity to portray executives and decision makers as thoughtful, hard working people.
And because I am 'traveling light', there's lots of different angles and opportunities to exploit in any meeting, producing a wide variety of images for corporate messaging, web sites, even annual reports.

LinkedIn Referral via John Hall Design

Here's a nice review from my client John Hall of John Hall Design..

"I have hired Mark many times over the past 15 years at the several different publications that I have art directed. He always comes up with photographs that are fabulous both creatively and technically. In addition, he's a blast to work with, and can loosen up even the stiffest CEO. Mark is also great at thinking on his feet if the weather or the client throws us a curve. I would highly recommend Mark."

Harvard University Professor Portrait

Harvard has a great number of pretty locations inside and out. In this case they were looking for a mix of classic and contemporary visuals- the black and white mixed with a bit of camera tilt to add a more modern feel.

Paul Farmer, Partners in Health, Boston MA

Partners in Health has a tiny office which befits the non-profit status his medical group has. BUT it isn't great for photos, its chock full of great people working to get people the healthcare they deserve. Fortunately I pulled a few strings and found a spot up the street at Mass Art College to shoot him and one of his fellow doctors. This was a cover for Contribute Magazine.

University of Dayton Magazine Photos

The University of Dayton assigned me to shoot a number of alumni involved in the energy conservation business. We spent the day at a facility being retrofitted with new cost-saving devices, among them this boiler. In addition to photographing straightforward looks, I tried some unusual angles, which proved to be what the magazine printed.

Ocean Spray Corporate Headquarters, MA

Ocean Spray has a nice spread south of Boston, on a number of cranberry bogs. Cranberries aren't usually in season when I'm there, but they do have this great truck they've used in their TV advertising.
God Bless the ad agency that gave this to Ocean Spray as a gift!
